let me give you some insight on texas. specifically our weather patterns.
today:
5 am: slightly raining outside at my condo. about 65 degrees F.
8 am: no more rain. about 70 degrees F.
12 noon: sunny. 75 degrees F.
2 pm: clouded skies, grey outside. 78 degrees F.
5 pm: grey skies, clouded over. 60 degrees F.
9 pm: raining, lightning, extreme wind. 45 degrees F.
10 pm: sleeting, hard wind, 37 degrees F.
11 pm: SNOWING, huge flurries, large flakes. 30 degrees F.
the only consistent thing about our weather is that it’s constantly inconsistent.
the upshot of this is that my laundry pile grows at an exponential rate because i have to wear five outfits in a day to accommodate the weather changes. or, in a day like today, i stay out the entire day in flip flops, running shorts, and a t shirt and now have to walk 2 miles home in that outfit while it’s snowing, windy, and below freezing. if i never post again, it’s because i contracted hypothermia or the flu and died.
it’s hell week. live your life, if you’re not part of the 90% of brain dead campus.
